Angie: I heard women from Southeast Asia come here to get married.

Taeji: Yes, you're right. They get married to men living in rural areas.

          Currently, 10 percent of marriages in Korea are interracial.

 

Angie: Wow, that's higher than I thought.

Taeji: There were 33,000 international marriages in 2009 alone.

 

Angie: I guess Korea is becoming more and more multicultural.

Taeji: Seems like it.
